Columbia COCC-14459~64
Released 1997.9.20 by Columbia Japan. Reissued 2001.7.20
Cost: ¥13,125 Yen (convert - about $118 USD)
Status: Seems to be out of print. Some copies available at the German Amazon: Amazon.de. You might be able to purchase it secondhand (ebay, Amazon.com). There are also bootlegs. The bootleg boxes are usually not as high quality as the original box from Columbia Japan, and they probably don't include the thick CD booklet. Bootleg serial numbers are SMB-054~SMB-059 (produced by SonMay) and AnG-010~AnG-015 (produced by EverAnime). You can't always tell by price, but any set significantly cheaper than $125 is probably bootleg.
Description: The Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon Memorial Song Box is a 6-disc set that comes in a sturdy box and features the most popular vocal songs released during Sailor Moon's five-year run. It comes with a 120-page booklet featuring the lyrics and a list of all the Sailormoon CDs released to that point. Each of the six CDs comes in a jewel case with a folded sheet with a picture on the front (a manga illustration) and back (an anime illustration). The box cover and CD case covers were specially designed for this set by TAKEUCHI Naoko, the manga creator, and when the CD covers are put together they form one large scene which is reprinted in the Sailor Moon Original Picture Collection Volume V.
TV-size editions of the openings and endings, instrumental versions of the Sailor Senshi singles, and additional karaoke versions are found on the Memorial Music Box.
